Working as part of a team, the Cleaning and Fire Restoration Technician is responsible for detailed specialty cleaning of building structures and contents often after a water or fire event in a residential home or business. By providing quality, consistent, efficient work, the Cleaning and Fire Restoration Technician represents the absolute best in the cleanup and restoration industry.  As a valued member of our team, you will receive a competitive pay rate, with opportunity to learn and advance. Primary Responsibilities:
  • Perform detailed cleaning of building structures (walls, floors, ceilings, cabinets, trim, doors, etc.) and contents (furniture, collectables, housewares, etc.) onsite at homes and businesses or at our facility.
  • Proper care and handling of items both before and after cleaning. 
  • Assist in loading the work vehicle with equipment, cleaning products, and supplies needed for each project. 
  • Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and clean equipment appearance. 
  • Assist to prepare rooms/areas for work activities. Set up staging area and equipment for each project.  
  • Adhere to company and OSHA safety and risk management guidelines at all times.  
  • Communicate with supervisors and other teammates to maintain efficient work processes. 
  • Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown. Leave jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance
  • Bi-Lingual would be a BIG plus!  
Position Requirements:
  • Current or previous residential or commercial cleaning experience would be a BIG plus.
  • Understanding of various textile materials, cleaning processes, and products to maximize cleaning results.
  • Effective understanding of basic English oral and written communication
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
  • Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., under cabinets, attics)
  • Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
  • Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
  • Ability to work in cold or hot conditions
  • Ability to travel during the day locally to various jobsites

Pay Rate: Starts at $17.50 - $19.00/hour based on experience, with possibility of overtime pay, and increases based on merit and obtaining company paid for industry cleaning certifications.

Hours: Full time Monday - Friday 7:30am to 5:00pm (occasional after hours depending on project requirements)
